Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account email and password (stored hashed). Profile details you provide (name, developer name, country, timezone, devices, languages, interests). Your private Play tester email, shared only inside accepted testing sessions. App listings (including icons and screenshots you upload), test requests, session progress, feedback, and in-app notifications. We also process basic technical data needed to run the service securely (for example authentication cookies and request metadata for rate limiting and abuse prevention).

How we use it

To create and manage your account, run reciprocal testing swaps, show your apps to other developers, deliver feedback and alerts, moderate abuse, and operate the product. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the platform for fake store reviews or paid install schemes.

Sharing

Other participants in a mutual testing session can see the tester details needed to run the swap (including Play tester email). Public app pages show marketing description and developer name — not closed-test invite links. Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, file storage, email) process data only to provide the service on our behalf. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Retention & security

We keep account and product data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterward if needed for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Passwords are hashed; access is authenticated; traffic to our service uses HTTPS.

Delete your account

You can request that we delete your Twelve Testers account and associated data.

1. Email syntexapps@gmail.com from the same email address registered on your account.
2. Use the subject line Delete Twelve Testers account and include your account email.
3. We will verify ownership of the account and process the request. You will receive a confirmation when deletion is complete or if we need more information.

What we delete: your account credentials, profile, app listings and uploaded media we store for those listings, test requests, session records tied to your account, feedback you submitted, and in-app notifications.

What we may retain for a limited time: records required for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, accounting, or legal compliance (for example logs of moderation actions). We do not keep your account active for product use after deletion is completed.

Typical completion time is within 30 days of a verified request (often sooner).

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can ask us to remove specific data while keeping your account open.

1. Email syntexapps@gmail.com from your registered account email.
2. Describe what you want removed (examples: a specific app listing and its screenshots, profile fields, or feedback you posted).
3. We will confirm what we can delete and when it has been done.

You can also edit or remove much of this yourself while signed in (profile details, draft/published app listings, and related uploads where the product allows).

Some data may be kept where needed to maintain swaps already in progress, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Children

Twelve Testers is intended for adults (18+), typically software developers using Google Play closed testing. It is not directed at children.
